Hyb4
The Personal Solution to Microarray Hybridization
If you need highly reproducible and sensitive microarray hybridizations while eliminating the intense labor and guesswork of traditional manual methods, use GeneMachines® Hyb4. You’ll also save time and money by eliminating the need to repeat failed experiments, a common problem with manual hybridization methods.
The GeneMachines® Hyb4 is built upon the success of the first automated hybridization system for microarrays. The unit automates all thermal and wash cycles for the hybridization of microarrays spotted on standard glass slides.
Features:
- Increased reproducibility through precise temperature control and sample agitation
- Ability to program and run multiple protocols
- Sample loading using standard laboratory pipettes and disposable tips
- Easy to use software

More about Hyb4:
- The 4-position GeneMachines® Hyb4 allows 4 slides to be hybridized, while the individual ports allow for independent probe introduction for each microarray.
- Minimizes handling of microarrays, substantially reducing human error. That means better control over the experimental variables, resulting in increased reproducibility of the hybridization.
- Maximize hybridization through gentle and consistent agitation that enhances kinetics and removes "edge effects." This ensures that the target equally addresses all probes on the array.
- Increase your research flexibility by defining, editing and storing individual methods using the Methods Editor software on your PC.
- Programmable temperature control allows for stepwise annealing of probes based on their GC content, resulting in improved hybridization specificity and more reliable data.
- Built-in heat block to warm labeled probes.
- Specialized reagents precisely manufactured to maximize probe attachment and minimize background.
